A mosquito net hanging over the baby cot is acknowledged by all pediatricians’ associations and by WHO to be a fundamental element in protecting babies from insect bites and from the diseases that these can transmit. For the little ones to be totally safe, though, it is essential that the mosquito net does not turn into a potential harm itself. Babies might indeed, while playing or sleeping, roll the veils around their body or even more dangerously around their neck, with the risk of choking. To prevent this from happening, we designed for our mosquito net “A GNESE for baby cot” a flexible stand able to gracefully support the veils, but that would immediately collapse should the baby get caught on the mosquito net.

As stated by the report issued by the Certification Body TÜV (see attachment), our stand is so flexible that it bends down to the ground when subject to a traction of 2 kg (see “Test Results: 3.1 Max Bearing Weight”) and, in case of a sudden load of 4 kg or more, it collapses and breaks apart, thus preventing any possible choking risk (see “Test Results: 3.2 Loading Test”). Why did we choose 4 kg as a parameter? To stay on the absolute safe side! Indeed, 4 kg is a weight lower than even the most minute 5-months-old babies, age at which the most precocious babies manage to sit up.

Hence, sure to read every parent’s will, we leaned towards giving absolute priority to the baby’s safety rather than to the stand’s sturdiness, that we guarantee to replace in case of damage, anyway. And when the baby grows up and moves on to a bigger bed, our mosquito net “T INA for single bed” will equally provide a peaceful sleep, safe from all risks. TINA hangs indeed from the ceiling, but thanks to its double frame (Grigolite patent) that keeps the veils effectively away from the body, it prevents the kid from getting caught on the mosquito net.
